Refer Hire

Project : Design Peer to Peer Hiring Network

The Collaboration

Refer Hire is a global peer-to-peer social Platform for hiring professionals. It was founded in 2016 by Rohit Tewari. Earlier, he Co-Founded Winfort, a leading recruitment consultancy firm based in New Delhi. Refer Hire enables members to build a personalized hiring network by connecting with peers at companies of interest. They facilitate referrals for job vacancies and allow members to earn employee referral bonuses.

Rohit Tewari was looking for an Indian UX UI Design Agency for better connect. He found Unqode on the Behance Network and contacted Unqode to design a user-friendly platform to address the pain points of people using other job portals. His goal is to enhance user engagement and position itself as a key player in the recruitment, IT, and staffing industries.

The Challenge

The primary challenge was to differentiate Refer Hire in a market dominated by established competitors like LinkedIn and Hirist. These platforms primarily facilitate broad networking but often lack targeted connections and personalized referrals. Refer Hire’s goal was to create a unique referral-driven journey focused on specific industry connections, such as IT, recruitment, and software. This required a streamlined and user-friendly design that made networking and referrals accessible, personalized, and meaningful.

Limited Targeted Connections

Users on traditional platforms found it difficult to connect with specific professionals in target companies.

Without a robust peer-based model, existing platforms often result in less relevant referrals.
The dense interfaces of larger platforms overwhelmed users who needed a straightforward referral experience.
Users faced difficulty in forming trustworthy, professional connections, which prolonged the hiring process.

The Goal

01
Our design solution focuses on enabling precise peer-to-peer networking through an intuitive and responsive platform to foster trust and high-quality connections.
02
Precise Networking: Users could easily build a targeted hiring network by connecting with professionals at companies of interest, reducing the reliance on generic connections.
03
Streamlined Referrals: The platform features a user-friendly referral system to improve referral tracking, encouraging high-quality peer connections.
04
Responsive, Clean Interface: We have to create a cohesive, cross-device layout that allowed users to engage effortlessly, providing an optimal experience on both mobile and desktop.
