Project : Design and develop an intuitive backend dashboard for Motion Cycling to efficiently manage coach availability, class assignments, customer accounts, and equipment availability within a backend system and functionalities.

The Collaboration

Motion Cycling, a fitness training company in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, engaged our UX design agency to update their outdated product dashboard. We created a modern and user-friendly dashboard through collaboration with the client, user testing, and iterative design changes.

The redesign has allowed Motion Cycling to provide exceptional fitness training services and maintain its reputation for delivering high-quality experiences to its customers.

The Challenge

A user-friendly interface enables administrators to seamlessly assign coaches to classes, manage customer accounts, and monitor fitness bike availability while maintaining clarity and simplicity in navigation and task execution.

Outdated Interface

The existing dashboard lacked a modern look and feel, making it less appealing and engaging for users.

Users found it difficult to access essential features and insights due to an unorganized layout and unclear workflows.

The dashboard was not optimized for mobile devices, limiting accessibility for users on the go.

Difficulties in displaying and managing trainer availability for sessions caused scheduling conflicts.

The system is overly complex, especially for new users unfamiliar with backend tools, leading to frustration and navigation difficulties. Coaches struggle with limited visibility into their schedules and face challenges in updating availability, causing miscommunication and scheduling conflicts. Additionally, administrators find the class assignment process tedious and error-prone, particularly when managing last-minute changes or substitutions.

We consolidate key design elements such as colors, typography, and UI components, which ensures consistency and ease of use across the platform. We provide clear guidelines for buttons, forms, and layouts, which enable quick updates and development. This empowers the Motion team to maintain a cohesive user experience with minimal effort.
